Mixed Spice blend combines specific ingredients, despite having some degree of flexibility. Cinnamon, Coriander Seeds, Caraway, Nutmeg, Ginger, Cloves, Allspice and Mace are all included in Mixed Spice, which is a blend of some or all of these ground spices.
Mixed spice is a blend of delicious sweet spices: caraway, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, ginger and nutmeg. This aromatic mix compliments many dishes and is often known as "The Pudding Spice." A great addition to cakes, muffins and fruit dishes, mixed spice is also suitable for use in savoury dishes.
